More to Sinus Irrigation than the Neti Pot

Rinsing out your sinuses seems both new and odd to us but this health technique has been used and recommended by Doctors for ages.

Whether you use the famous Neti Pot or a modern variation the principle is the same. We rinse our hands after petting an animal to cut down the spread of dander and rinsing the sinuses simply flushes air borne pollen and other irritants out of the nasal passages.

Neti Pots come in different materials – the classic Net Pot was made of metal but some folks like other materials like ceramic or plastic.

The important thing is just to try it out – there are hundreds of enthusiastic reviews at Amazon alone for the Neti Pot – it is very moving to read them.

Symptoms relieved, medications reduced or not needed at all.

And all that from a rinse with salty water! Who would have thought it so effective?

Beyond the Neti Pot

Of course someone has come up with different designs. So now we have other ways to get the job done.

The best I have seen is the Nasopure bottle. What is different and better in my view about this product is that you do not have to twist your head to the side to use it. It’s best you see for your self so you can decide if this is best for you or not.

As we see, there is a little bit of techniques here to use it properly but this is a simple drug free and quick method of flushing allergens like pollen, dust or mold out of your nose  – got to be worth a go if a nasal rinse and not a sinus rinse is what you want.

Check it out at Amazon Nasopure nasal irrigation refill kit.

Electric Neti?

Someone just had to make this into a tech gadget. Ideal I guess for the tech guy or gal who has sinus problems or allergies. There are various models but this one in the picture here has a pulsating mist spray and has controls to adjust the pressure and the pulsation of the saline solution used.
